Canvasser

WV4EF is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as part-time Community Canvassers for a 7-month period (May-November). As a Community Canvasser, you will work in pairs to play a crucial role in promoting community events hosted by WV4EF and garnering turnout for these events, collecting signatures on petitions as needed, and engaging in meaningful conversations with residents about their experiences with rising electricity costs and potential solutions. Canvassers must be living in WV and willing to travel around the state. Qualified applicants have excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with a diverse range of individuals. They will also have a passion for community organizing and advocacy work.

Organizer

WV4EF is seeking an organizer to work part-time (20 hrs/week) on a seven-month campaign. As a WV4EF Organizer, you will play a pivotal role in organizing and facilitating Community Action Events that empower our supporters to take meaningful action for our cause. You will engage with attendees and WV4EF supporters through 1:1 meetings, mobilize them for collective impact, and move them up the engagement ladder. The organizer will have the ability to identify supporters’ specific skill sets in order to personalize involvement paths that maximize their contributions to our mission. They will also have the ability to educate West Virginians on our mission and how they can get involved.
