Farmer Pride
Huntington, WV

We had a blast celebrating LGBTQ+ representation in agriculture during Pride month! People came from all over to get together and share space to learn from one another, celebrate each other, and make some new friends. Attendees and vendors stopped by our table to learn more about energy freedom and the importance of energy efficiency. Some even signed our AEP energy efficiency petition!

Martinsburg Community Action Event

We are always inspired by the passion in the Eastern Panhandle. On June 27th, WV4EF hosted a Community Action Event at the Martinsburg Public Library, where we met a dedicated group of current and future energy freedom advocates. We loved the enthusiasm and can’t wait to return soon!

2024 Friends of Vienna Freedom Festival
Grand Central Mall, Vienna, WV (June 28-29)

Stop by and say “hi” to our table at the 2024 Friends of Vienna Freedom Festival as we kick off Independence Day celebrations. We’ll be there to chat with community members about energy freedom, including ways to lower your utility bill through energy efficiency and solar programs. And if that isn’t enough to persuade you, we’ll also be handing out some free swag!

Check your email boxes in the future for an invite to our first online brown bag lunch event in July. We will spotlight the future growth potential of energy transition with a special guest speaker to be announced.

This is your chance to show your support for Appalachian Power to continue their program and incentives. It is critical that we expand resources for all residents to help offset rising energy costs. AEP customers in West Virginia have seen rates increase by 235% in the past 15 years.

Energy efficiency programs allow you to take control over your energy bill. They also create local jobs and growth opportunities in West Virginia.
